During the May 12th program update, you will learn more about our work from:
|
During this presentation and discussion, you will meet Ing Swenson (he/him/his), Director of Behavioral Health. Ing will share how Center on Halsted offers LGBTQ culturally competent individual, relationship, family, and group therapy services and also provides letters of support for gender affirming surgeries to our Trans/Gender-Non-Conforming/Non-binary communities. In addition, Behavioral Health has a robust training program for Masters and Doctoral level students that remain with us from August to May every year. The department provides three Mental Health First Aid trainings, four Clinical Work with LGBTQ Client trainings, and three collaborative Signal Boost Project! trainings per year.
During the program update you will also learn about upcoming activities and ways to support Center on Halsted.
