Center on Halsted has made some exciting changes to how we serve Chicago’s LGBTQ+ youth and families! We have expanded our programs and services to provide a wide array of offerings for LGBTQ+ youth and their families, as well as LGBTQ+ parents/caregivers and their families, including:
• Social, recreational, cultural, and educational programs
• Opportunities for youth/families to connect, build community, network, share resources, and affirm their LGBTQ+ identities
• A new mentoring program
• A revamped Youth Advisory Board
• A summer leadership academy
• Robust arts programming
• Anti-violence/anti-bullying programs
• Youth & family behavioral health services
