DESCRIPTION
Center on Halsted hosts several peer-led Community Groups who meet regularly for discussion, activity, and socializing. The Center provides a supportive space for these groups to gather and collaborate within the LGBTQ and Allied communities. This group meets every Saturday.
To provide a safe, supportive and welcoming space for individuals who lived through the AIDS pandemic, experienced loss and grief over losing friends, loved ones and family to come together to discuss those experiences and find community with others.
OBSERVER POLICY FOR THIS GROUP This community group welcomes researchers, journalists, students attending in an academic capacity, and other observers, provided that they obtain permission prior to coming.
