DESCRIPTION
Since 2015, Center on Halsted has hosted “WERQ!”, the Midwest’s largest LGBTQIA+ Career Fair. This event, free for job seekers, connects community members with LGBTQIA+ affirming employers who are seeking new talent. Each year, the event draws hundreds of community members and features dozens of LGBTQIA+ friendly corporations, small businesses, government agencies, and non-profits.
