The goal of CCHC's abstinence education program (The Advantage Plan - TAP) is to increase the number of African American youth ages 12-18 who choose to remain abstinent until marriage by providing health education which equips them to make healthy decisions and develop future and life goals. Reaching African American youth with the message of abstinence until marriage promotes a healthy lifestyle by teaching the social, psychological, and health gains to be realized by abstaining from sexual activity, and also teaches that abstinence is the only way to avoid out-of-wedlock pregnancy, sexually-transmitted diseases, and other associated health problems. Closed on the 5th Saturday of the month (if applicable) |
